Jang Keun Suk First Overseas Solo Artist to Top Oricon Weekly Chart

Jang Keun Suk's first studio album ‘Just Crazy’ topped Oricon's weekly chart soon after its release and sold over 88,000 copies in its first week.

It has been 8 years, after Japanese singer Moriyamya Naotaro in May 2004, since a male solo artist's first album placed first on the Oricon Chart; it is the first time for a male solo artist from overseas to rank number one on the Oricon Chart with a debut album.

Not only has Jang Keun Suk's studio album ‘Just Crazy’ place 1st on Oricon's daily and weekly chart, but his first single, ‘Let Me Cry,’ which was released in April, placed first on the weekly charts as well.

Jang Keun Suk will begin his Asia tour ‘2012 Asia Tour – THE CRI SHOW 2’ starting in July in Seoul. He plans to tour a total of four countries in Asia including four cities in Japan, China, and Southeast Asia.
