Rookie solo singer Juniel has confessed of her stress of being addressed as ‘the next IU.’

Juniel performed in Seoul on June 7 showing her potential to be the next IU.

Juniel was already gaining a lot of attention before her official debut and earned the title, 'the next IU.' Juniel responded to this title as "IU is Korea's favorite sister right now. So I was happy to get this title."

But she also confessed "But it is too much for just a beginner. From now on, I want to show myself being Juniel, not as 'the next IU.'

She answered about her strengths as "The tone of my voice often changes based on the song's feeling. So people often confuse me in different songs. I think my good side is that I have various voices."

Juniel won 'Niji Iro Supernova' in 2010 and released a mini album 'Ready Go!' in 2011, and she placed herself as a notable singer-song writer in Japan.
