Moto X+1 Release Date, Price: Upcoming Motorola Flagship Spotted In Maker's Website, To Hit AT&T, Sprint, Verizon In The US, Costs $400

Moto X+1 release date, price: For the past couple of weeks, we have been hearing and reading a lot about two upcoming Android flagships, the LG G3 and the Moto X+1. While the G3 is a super high-end smartphone with QHD display, 3GB of RAM and a ton of other features, the Moto X+1 is slated to be just like its predecessor -  a high quality smartphone with a very affordable price tag.

And in a new report by BGR, the upcoming Motorola flagship could very well be that kind of device. In the report, the upcoming smartphone appears on Motorola's website only to be taken down minutes later.

However, our vigilant leakers have been able to take a screenshot of the page, which showcases a Motorola phone and a price tag of only $400.

In the report, it appears the Moto X+1 release date will be making its debut in some US carriers such as AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. There are still no further details if T-Mobile is going to get the device as well.

$400 is a low price if the spec list is right. If you consider, say, the HTC One M8 and the Samsung Galaxy S5, $400 is a very affordable price tag because of the specs and features they boast.

But what about the Moto X+1?

Previous rumors are pointing to a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution display, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM and a 12MP primary shooter.

If the processor is a Snapdragon 801 and the phone comes with Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box, then this could be a great deal for Motorola and Android fans. In the report, the Moto X+1 will be available in several color options including black, blue, grey and red on its allegedly leather back.
