LG G3 Release Date: New High-End Android Smartphone Spotted In Leaked Images Wearing Gold, Showcases Thin Bezels, Infrared Technology For Better Camera Shots

LG G3 release date: We all know that LG is taking its time in releasing its own flagship device. While Samsung, HTC and Sony are already battling it out in some markets, LG is patiently waiting its turn to be the focus of the spotlight.

And in all of the supposedly leaked images of its upcoming flagship, the LG G3, these pair of shots could be the best we have seen.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a couple of leaked live shots of the device have surfaced. In the images, the new Android smartphone is donned in gold, almost from all sides except for the display.

The images also tell us a lot about the smartphone's design, including the super thin bezels in front of the device. And because the entire facade of the G3 is black, it leads to the impression that the entire front of the device is the actually the phone's display.

In addition, we also get more details from a source of GSM Arena. Previously we all thought that the second sensor at the left side of camera and back buttons is some kind of sensor as well. Apparently, it is an infrared tech part that enable the device to take better shots in dim light situations and environments.

We also get to see the volume buttons and the power button at the back, all of which are also coated with gold.

In case you have missed some rumors in the past, the LG G3 is said to sport a QHD or 2K display (2560 x 1440) resolution on a 5.5-inch screen. Also allegedly on board is 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 801 chipset and a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz.

A 13MP primary camera is also present with a bunch of new features which enable 'pictorials' to be a lot more fun.
