Clippers Comeback Win Vs Thunder: Down The Entire Game, L.A. Makes Late-Game Rally To Tie Series

Clippers comeback win vs Thunder: Sunday was Mother's Day and L.A. gave all the mothers in the stands a present they'll remember for a long time.

Darren Collison scored 10 of his 18 points in the final 2:58, rallying the Los Angeles Clippers vs the Oklahoma City Thunder 101-99 on Sunday to tie the Western Conference semifinal series 2-2. The comeback was a 25-point comeback and a historic one for the Clippers franchise.

It was the 14th comeback by the Clippers this season after trailing by double digits. They rallied from 12 points down in the second quarter of Game 7 to oust Golden State in the first round.

Kevin Durant had a playoff-high this season with 40 points, hitting 15 of 18 free throws. One of those free throws came late in the game as the Clippers were fighting back.

It was the Thunder's defense that was nowhere to be found late. The Clippers kept getting by them and in the paint, hitting lay-up after lay-up.

Collison scored the Clippers' final four points on layups. Crawford passed to a streaking Collison for a fast-break conversion on the second one for a 101-97 lead with 32 seconds left. Westbrook scored for the Thunder, but after Griffin missed, Westbrook did too to end the game, according to ESPN.com.

Game 5 will be on Tuesday in Oklahoma City where the Clippers already took a game in this series.
