FTISLAND will be performing at "Mezamashi Live" in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan on July 28.

"Mezamashi Live" is an outdoor concert put on by Japan's Fuji TV network. This year, Korea's FTISLAND will be performing along with Japan's best R&B female singer, AI.

FTISLAND performed last year at "Mezamashi Live" to a record setting attendance, and demonstrated to Japan the extent of FTISLAND's power. At that time the capacity for the live concert was set at 2000 people, however 40,000 female fans gathered to see FTISLAND. 10,000 people gathered at FT ISLAND's performance location which is the largest number of people for "Mezamashi Live" surpassing the 8,000 people gathered for Big Bang. 

FTISLAND released their second Japanese album 20(Twenty) on May, 16. They have since received a lot of love. Not even a week after the album was released, 41,726 copies have been sold. FTISLAND album's first week sales in Japan set a new record. The day 20(Twenty' was released for sale, Japanese group Mr. Children went from the number 1 and 2 spot on the daily Oricon charts to number three making room for FTISLAND, displaying their frightening potential. 

FTISLAND celebrated their fifth anniversary recently. FT Island is not only promoting through Japan, but Asia. For their fifth anniversary, FT Island held a successful concert in Bangkok, Thailand on June 9, at "Play! FTISLAND IN BANGKOK."

Currently promoting in Japan, beginning on June 24 until July 8, FT Island will be performing in four cities Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Hokkaido for Japan summer concert "FTISLAND Summer Tour 2012 ~RUN! RUN! RUN!~" It is predicted that these concerts will be FTISLAND largest record setting performances.
