Xbox 360 Star Wars Battlefront 3 Release Date: Trailer & Gameplay Surprise? [UPDATE] New Characters, Locations And Vehicles Hinted

Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE) has hinted at the direction of multi platform title Star Wars 3: Battlefront, Examiner.com reports, leaving many gamers wondering if the popular Xbox 360 title will include release date trailer and gameplay surprises. 

Developer Disney Interactive announced they will be cutting "Attack Squadrons" from the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 3 release date version.

"We want to thank all of the fans who participated in the closed beta of Star Wars: Attack Squadrons," Disney Interactive posted on Facebook.

"After much consideration, we have decided to cease development so that we can focus on other Star Wars game experiences. We truly appreciate the time you spent engaging in the beta."

Star Wars Battlefront 3 developer EA Games revealed that the organization will share more details about the game and "other new projects in development," leaving many gamers wondering if they are planning on displaying gameplay for the rumored Battlefront 4 successor game.

EA Games CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed the appearance during a conference call with investors, PC Gamer reports.

The group is showed gameplay footage for Star Wars Battlefront 3 and five other highly-anticipated titles at the E3 2014 conference.

"EA World Premiere at E3 coming live to Spike TV on June 9, 1 hour press conference with six new game reveals as part of our E3 All Access," said Spike TV star Geoff Keighley via Twitter several days ago.

EA Games announced the game during last year's E3 conference, featuring a short gameplay trailer.

The company's CEO, Andrew Wilson, recently announced the game's release.

"Over the next few years, we will deliver some epic new entertainment experiences to our players, built on a foundation of creativity and innovation," Wilson said, according to the International Digital Times.

"I'm looking forward to sharing a lot more with our gamers in just a few short weeks."
