iPhone 6 Rumors: Apple's 4.7" Smartphone Appears Next To An HTC One M8, Design Is Bigger But Thinner

Months before the official unveiling of Apple's new smartphone, a slew of iPhone 6 rumors have already flooded the rumor mill, and while we don't actually hear Apple talk about its upcoming handset, it lets tech websites and blogs do the talking.

Now, in a new report, an alleged dummy version of the iPhone 6 is spotted again, this time beside one of the top Android flagship smartphones today, the HTC One M8.

Seen side to side with the 5-inch Android phone, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 is able to manage to hold its own. In the images, we can clearly see that this iPhone is probably among the best-looking since it was first launched in 2007.

The rounded edges which are inspired by the iPod Touch looks pleasant and comfortable for the hands, while the overall design which we think Apple got from the iPad lineup looks good as well.

Compared with the iPhone 5s, the iPhone 6 is not that big for a smartphone with 4.7 inches of screen estate. However, it managed to squeeze in such huge display (for an iPhone) by placing slimmer top, bottom and side bezels, making the screen look bigger while keeping the smartphone 'pocketable'.

In the image, the dummy version of the iPhone 6 can easily match up with the HTC One M8. But how about the alleged 5.5-inch version which has been tipped to come at a later date?

Apple is certainly trying to play out all of its cards in this smartphone competition, and it's one against the battalion of Android flagships. But as long as the Cupertino manufacturer keeps the hype high, it should not have any big problems when it comes to customer anticipation.

However, once Apple achives a stellar anticipation and hype rating, it should be able to deliver what is due to consumers. Failure to do so would only result in massive losses for the Cupertino-based manufacturer.
