iPad Air Specs: Next-Gen iPad Dummy Version Shows Up In Live Photos, Rumored Specs Include Touch ID Fingerprint Sensor, A8 Chipset

As the iPhone 6 is already popular in the tech rumor category, it is just fitting that we see the iPad Air specs of the upcoming Apple tablet.

And while the Cupertino manufacturer still chooses to keep its mouth shut regarding features, specs and other details, the guys at Nowhereelse has done it again and came up with a dummy model of the iPad Air 2, also known as the iPad 6.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the French website has posted images of the dummy model which impressively looks like the real deal. In the report, Nowhereelse took note of the device's dimensions as well as the rumored materials which would be used to develop it.

The result is a near-accurate 3D rendering of the Apple tablet.

So what do we expect from the sixth generation iPad?

As the images show, the new Apple slate will certainly be slim like its predecessor, the iPad Air which managed better sales than the more popular iPad mini at that time.

According to the report, the new Apple tablet will also get the famed Touch ID fingerprint sensor of the iPhone 5s, with improved features and functionality, automatically making it a favorite for fingerprint sensor enthusiasts.

Other rumored specs of the new iPad include Apple's new A8 chip, the revamped iOS 8 which made its debut at the WWDC earlier this month, a sapphire display, and a better camera.

Meanwhile, there has not been any reports yet about the iPad mini Retina, which may a bit of a downside for a company like Apple who flourish by introducing new features to a very competitive mobile market.

Apple has been keeping quiet regarding its upcoming devices including the iPhone 6, the new iPads, the new MacBooks and even the rumored iWatch. Let us just hope all of these devices would make their respective debuts sooner rather than later.
