"Doctor Who" season 8 filming is nearing its end, and spoilers have emerged regarding the return of some very familiar names.

According to Doctor Who TV, filming for the "Doctor Who" season 8 finale is set to begin next month. Reportedly, it will take place inside a studio to avoid spoilers—one of which could be the return of The Master.

It is rumored that actor John Simm-who portrayed The Master last time-could be replaced by a "Hollywood actor."

"I must say, the rumor's pretty strong this year," commented Deus Ex Machina on Doctor Who TV. "This could actually be happening, and I hope it does. I'll just wait for official word from the BBC. Unless they're keeping it a surprise, but they don't seem too good at keeping big secrets like this."

Others, however, are more skeptical on this "Doctor Who" season 8 rumor.

"I would take anything the Daily Star says with a pinch of salt if I'm honest," added KingOfTheInterWebs. "Their adverts alone are enough to make me not trust them. Combined with a lot of their published articles that I've seen just being made up fantasy to catch the eyes of readers, I'm personally going to take this all with a large pinch of salt."

Meanwhile, a recent slew of set photos have emerged, and it depicts spoilers on an upcoming episode which might pit Clara against the TARDIS once again.

In the set photos, we see Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman wrestling with a shrinking TARDIS. It shrinks until, in the final photo, it is small enough to be held in Clara's hand.

"This is probably meant to give out a war between Clara and the TARDIS, and Clara will feel she's superior to the TARDIS or something because the TARDIS doesn't like her," theorized Aidan McGirr.
