iOS 8 beta 2 download is now out!

Apple is now offering the second test version of its mobile operating system after releasing the iOS 8 beta 1 on June 2.

Fifteen days after the launch of the first beta, the iPhone maker released the iOS 8 beta 2 download. Specifically made available on June 17, the iOS 8 beta 2 download addresses the issues found on the first beta version.

Members of the Apple Developer Center can now access the iOS 8 beta 2 download through over-the-air update process. Ad later, the new beta version will also be available from the iOS Dev Center, as posted on Macrumors.

Particularly, the iOS 8 beta 2 download comes with build number 12A4297e and it is available only to compatible iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models.

Developers can expect a couple of tweaks and enhancements after getting the iOS 8 beta 2 download. For instance, the Podcast app is now pre-installed.

Also, iPad and iPhone users will notice the addition of Apple's QuickType keyboard. However, it seems that the feature is not yet available on the iPad 2.

The Brightness toggle has already been fixed. On a separate MacRumors.com post, it explained that that Brightness toggle, which is found in Settings, under Wallpaper, was not working.

In addition to the iOS 8 beta 2 download, the Cupertino-based company has also seeded the Apple TV software beta. As shown on a screenshot posted on a report from 9to5mac.com, the pre-release version of the Apple TV software is to be used for testing Airplay with the iOS apps.
