Elder Scrolls Online Review, Classes, Beta [NEWS]: Update Quest Fixes? PS4, Xbox One Versions Get New Patch

Elder Scrolls Online developer Bethesda has released a new patch update, version 1.1.5, which is said to feature additional quest fixes that compound the fixes in previous updates for the game, Gameranx.com reports.

They also mentioned they had come across some issues with developing the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, Monitoring Crunch explains in a review, pushing next-generation console versions to be delayed by six months.

"One of the issues is said to be with system integration. Each platform needs a unique manufacturer's network and so it means that it does take some time for Elder Scrolls Online to be tuned correctly," the website writes, later discussing classes within the game's Beta version.

"However it isn't full of doom and gloom for fans as Bethesda said that fans will be compensated. Players are able to play on the PC and then transfer their saved files over onto the console version."

Tamriel Infinium is a feature Elder Scrolls Online developers "got right," Joystiq writes in a review.

"Despite all my misgivings, ESO does compel me to log in for one main reason: the story. And not just the story but how well the characters are written and how the story is told," the website writes.

"The subject matter isn't bland and cliche. The characters are taken seriously, even when the story is humorous, regardless of gender or race. Although I cannot give you every example here, I would like to touch on a couple of the stories that exemplify what I mean by great storytelling in an MMORPG."

Elder Scrolls Online's Update 2 is currently on the public test server, Joystiq.com reports.
