NBA Trade Rumors 2014: Kevin Love To Denver! Nuggets Offer Strong Package But All-Star Forward Might Not Stay In Mile High City! Is It Worth The Risk?

The NBA Trade Rumors 2014 are starting to pile up, but the domino that will start a chain reaction is still Kevin Love. A new player has emerged in the sweepstakes-the Denver Nuggets.

The report from NBC Sports cites that the Denver Nuggets are taking a risk since Kevin Love has an option to be a free agent at the end of next season.

Nevertheless, the Nuggets are going to send two of its young players in the 'Manimal' Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler, a solid scorer to take on the offensive chores love will leave behind and someone outside their current roster:

NBC's analysis: "Denver is a new name, and there would be questions about whether they could retain Love's services after next season when he can opt out (his people telling Minnesota Love would opt out sparked this trade talk in the first place, it forced the Timberwolves hand). That said the Nuggets have the No. 11 pick in this draft as well as some interesting players they could throw in -Danilo Gallinari, J.J. Hickson and Evan Fournier, among others." The emergence of new players who will bid for Kevin Love is expected. Love made it to the All NBA 2nd team this season and is regarded as the best power forward in the game. Still, there are skeptics who believe that these rumors may be sparked by Minnesota in order to get a bigger haul from the other teams in play. But this transaction can get complicated. It's not just about pleasing Minnesota, it's also about securing a commitment from Kevin Love. The player option makes it tricky, and other teams might shy away from making a bid unless there is an assurance that Love will sign an extension. Very few teams, if any will take the risk that Sacramento declared-they would trade for Love with or without an extension. Still, with the Houston Rockets virtually bowing out of the Kevin Love bonanza, Denver might be a surprise contender.
