Nexus 10 2 Release Date: Next-Gen Android Slate Launching At Google I/O Conference On June 25-26? HTC To Manufacture The Tablet?

Nexus 10 2 release date rumors intensified even more with Google's I/O Conference 2014 nears.

According to the latest Nexus 10 2 release date reports, the second-generation of the 10-inch Android slate may be launched at Google's upcoming event for developers. A report on Christian Today noted that the Nexus 10 2 is expected to take the stage at the I/O Conference 2014 to be hosted by the internet search giant, citing Tech Radar.

There are also reports suggesting that the Nexus 10 2 will be manufactured by the Taiwanese phone maker, HTC.

The Google I/O Conference will take place on June 25 - 26 in Moscone, San Francisco. However, no official announcement has been made yet regarding the Nexus 10 2's attendance at the event.

Previous rumors suggest that Nexus 10 2 release date may not happen anymore as Google is planning to replace it with the Nexus 8. There are also claims suggesting that the internet company is planning to drop the entire Nexus line and replace it with the Android Silver program.

But if the Nexus 10 2 release date will still take place, fans should not anticipate an imminent arrival for the tablet. As reported on AirHerald.com, industry insiders expect that Nexus 10 2 release date will be slated during the winter season of this year.

As for the alleged Nexus 10 2 specs, the tablet may feature a 10.1-inch screen with 2560 x 1600 QHD resolution and 330 ppi for pixel density, in addition to 8 MP rear camera and 2.1 MP secondary camera.

Furthermore, as noted on a separate post on Christian Today, the Nexus 10 2 is expected to be powered by 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor or the NVIDIA Tegra 4, 3GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU.
