A new update has emerged from the official Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire website regarding the latest Mega Evolution, Mega Sableye.

After being introduced at E3, fans now know Mega Sableye's type as well as its ability.

According to PokeJungle, Mega Sableye will retain its Ghost/Dark dual-type, and will have increased Defense and Special Attack stats. It will, however, have reduced Speed.

To many people's surprise, Mega Sableye's Ability will be Magic Bounce, which reflects all stat-lowering status moves, non-damaging status condition inducing moves, entry hazard moves, and moves like Taunt and Torment, back to the attacker.

With such an interesting combinations of Ability and stats, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire fans are already plotting out how to best use Mega Sableye in battles.

"Just looked at its move pool," writes MegaHeavyMetalFairy on PokeJungle. "It gets Nasty Plot. Magic Bounce your opponent's Taunt back to them and set up Nasty Plot. Proceed to dent a hole in your opponent's team!"

"With its new increased defenses, running in front of dual screens, it'll do great. It'll also function great in a Trick Room team."

"Magic Bounce isn't that bad of an ability," comments Chicolombia. "It'll still be able to do what it normally does, just without the priority. One of the best ways to cripple Sableye was with status or taunt, but that's not happening anymore. Sableye will still be useful, but the way it's used will change."
