Miley Cyrus took time out of her Bangerz Tour for a selfie break. Miley Cyrus stripped down for a pre- and post-shower topless selfie. Miley's topless selfie references the classic comedy Cameron Diaz flick, "There's Something About Mary."

It's funny, kind of, that Miley Cyrus's topless selfie also harkens to  Jennette McCurdy, the iCarly star who made headlines with a naked selfie recently. Jennette is taking off from Sam and Cat to do a sketch show with Ben Stiller, who starred with Cameron Diaz in "There's Something About Mary." The   "Jennette McCurdy, iCarly star, Leaked Naked Selfies" were recently denounced as a HOAX by Daily Offbeat. 

The pre-shower Miley Cyrus topless selfie is a tribute to Cameron Diaz in "There's Something About Mary," the 1998 gross out romantic comedy. And it shows Miley's still got her sense of humor. In case you forgot, in "There's Something About Mary" Cameron Diaz styles her bangs with, well, let's just call it a very intimate protein shake from Ben Stiller.

On Saturday, Miley Cyrus mimicked the earthy hair gel in a topless selfie she posted to Instagram. The Examiner speculated that the topless selfie may be way for Cyrus to show support of the Free the Nipple campaign that is making the rounds across America in an attempt to challenge traditional ideas about  nudity in media.

Before this, Cyrus made a reference to the Free The Nipple movement when she posed with a giant nipple back in December. Miley put the wrong hash tag on the photo and this might be kind of a do-over.

The Miley Cyrus topless selfie looks like it was taken with a colorful iPhone. Miley's covering up most of what she's got to offer and her exposed nipple is covered by a red cartoon octopus.

Cyrus is also sticking out her famous tongue, which is kind of like her logo at this point.
