Lebron James News: 4-Time MVP 'Very Likely' To Stay With Miami, But Needs A Better Supporting Cast

After a stellar run in the 2013-14 NBA season and Playoffs, the Miami Heat fell short of its third consecutive ring after being demolished by the San Antonio Spurs. While there are some LeBron James news saying that the 29-year-old star will soon opt out of his final year with the Heat, another source tells us that he is 'very likely' to stay.

In a report by Sporting News, the 2-time NBA Finals MVP is said to remain with the Miami Heat in spite all of the predictions from fans and even some reports.

Meanwhile, in another report by CBS Sports, an executive from a rival NBA team said that there is a 40 percent chance that James would leave the team and go to greener pastures.

Of course we cannot take for granted that several NBA teams have shown interest in a lot of star free agents when its time begins a couple of weeks from now.

The Houston Rockets as well as the Chicago Bulls are now shopping for all-star caliber NBA players to further increase their chances of making it higher in the Playoffs next year.

If James decides to let all of these pass, then something should have made him think that this Heat team can still compete. In a report by EyeOne Basketball, King James is reportedly unhappy that the team's owner Micky Arison did not make any significant improvements with the team over the past two years.

Back in 2012, this Miami team is formidable when they won their first NBA title in the 'Big Three' era. Last year, they almost lost to this same Spurs, not for some miraculous heroics from then fresh acquisition Ray Allen.

However, this time around, there were no miracles, no lucky nights, and no three-peat.

If LeBron James does want to still win his next titles with the Heat, there should be some changes, particularly in the point guard and center positions. As free agency period begins, it is pretty interesting which players the Heat could add to their roster for the upcoming 2014-15 NBA season.
