As fans fawn over the news and updates regarding Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, a new trend is catching fire for fan art admirers called Pokemon fusion.

Meet Josi from Tumblr. The 18-year-old concept artist has gone viral in various Pokemon fansites for her fan art which fuses two different Pokemon into one creation. On her Tumblr page, you can see creations like Doublade plus Banette, Gardevoir plus Chandelure, Dragonair plus Altaria, Goldeen plus Milotic, and more.

With Mega Evolution confirmed to continue in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, fans are hoping similar creations can be seen in the future.

"Now I suddenly want 4th generation Megas and anticipating Empoleon the most (even though these are fusion but I want a Mega Empoleon that looks like that)," commented MegaHeavyMetalFairy on PokeJungle.

"She combined Pokemon that would make sense and didn't fuse any old thing. This made me want real Pokemon fusions."

"Majestic, powerful, and graceful all at the same time," wrote CelestialStar. "It's such an amazing design even the fandom would have never dreamed of!"

"That Milotic plus Goldeen is something even Mega Milotic cannot compete with. And yes, I'm saying Mega Milotic is real already."

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released this November, and it will feature additional Mega Evolutions of the Hoenn Pokedex.

So far, the confirmed new Mega Evolution include Mega Swampert, Mega Sceptile, Mega Diancie, and Mega Sableye.
