Upcoming HTC Phones 2014: Desire 610 Arriving Soon In AT&T In The US, Specs Incl. 4.7" Display, Snapdragon 400, 1GB RAM

It looks like upcoming HTC phones for 2014 are beginning to make their way in the international market.

Announced way back in February during the MWC event in Barcelona and has since then only been available in Europe, the HTC Desire 610 is now making its way to the international market scene, particularly in the US where it will be hitting AT&T in the coming weeks if not months.

In a report by GSM Arena, notorious leakster EV Leaks has done it again and has posted an image on Twitter of the upcoming HTC midranger.

The midrange device sports similar design to the One M8 flagship as well as its cheaper version the One E8, though it resembles the E8 better due to its plastic build. As far as the screen goes, it is hardly noticeable the the Desire 610 only has a 4.7-inch display compared to the 5-inch screens of the M8 and E8.

There are two front speakers which would be ideal for people who love listening to music, watching clips and playing games on-the-go. Unfortunately, the Desire 610 is stuck in 2011 with its qHD (960 x 540) display.

Inside the Android-powered handset lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, and 1GB of RAM. Overall, that's pretty the staple features for a decent device in the Desire 610's rumored price range which varies from a $50-100 on a two-year contract with AT&T.

Other specs of the device include 8GB of internal memory, a microSD card, an 8-megapixel primary shooter at the back and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. The phone runs on a 2040mAh battery, and is completed with the usual connectivity features such as NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

We will bring you more details of the HTC Desire 610 as it arrives in AT&T in the next couple of weeks.
