LeBron James News: 4-Time MVP Opts Out Of His Contract In Miami, Where Will He Go?

After four seasons with the Miami Heat, it looks like the recent LeBron James news is that the four-time Most Valuable Player wants to go out, again.

According to a report by The Guardian, James's agent confirmed with Heat officials that the 29-year-old forward has decided to opt out of his contract.

This makes James a free agent beginning on July 1.

So what about his 'comrades'?

According to reports, both Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade - the other members of Miami's 'Big Three' can opt out of their contracts as well, leaving the Heat with only Mario Chalmers, Ray Allen, And Michael Beasley as the only players who can score.

When Miami Heat president Pat Riley heard the news, he said,"

"Players have a right to free agency and when they have these opportunities, the right to explore their options."

However, he made it clear that they will still pursue James and sit down for a negotiation.

"We look forward to sitting down with LeBron and his representatives and talking about our future together."

But what if King James does not want to return with the Heat?

There are a number of options where the five-time NBA All Defensive team member can choose to go. One would be the Los Angeles and a possible team-up with The Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant just in time for his return.

Together with Pau Gasol and a playmaker in Steve Nash, James can flourish in a type of game where other players can score - but that would be the result of a well-run play.

Another option for James is the New York Knicks, which recently lost Carmelo Anthony after the latter decided to terminate his contract. New York is a Playoff contender, and its roster has been minimally changed in recent years. Both Amare Stoudamire, Tyson Chandler and Josh Smith have what it takes to support James scoring-wise.

It looks like Decision 2.0 will be soon, but we still have to wait.
