iPhone 6 Price Already Promised To Be Cheaper In China?

Even months before Apple's new smartphone launches, some people are already asking the iPhone 6 price. In the very competitive Chinese smartphone market, rumor has it that the new iPhones would be slightly cheaper than in the international market.

According to a report by GSM Arena, rumored pricing of the iPhones in China says that the 32GB model will retail at CNY 5,300 ($850 / €625). Meanwhile, the 64GB version will be CNY 6,300 ($1010 / €740).

Compared to the iPhone 5s prices in the Asian market wherein the 16GB model costs CNY 5,300 while the 64GB edition is priced at CNY 6,900, the rumored prices of the upcoming iPhone 6 are actually slightly cheaper.

If this rumored pricing pans out to be true, then we may be looking for a cheaper iPhone 6 in the international market as well. In several reports in the past, Apple is said to be using on-cell touch technology in their new iPhones which makes the phone thinner, the pixels more responsive, and production costs cheaper.

If you are a huge fan of Apple and your iPhone 4 or 4s is already ready to go, then start saving up for the upcoming iPhone 6. According to previous reports, there will be two screen sizes for the new iPhone, a 4.7-inch edition and another with a huge 5.5-inch display.

Foxconn, Apple's partner manufacturer has already confirmed the two versions and it will begin working on the smaller display next month.

We just cannot help but wonder what pushed the Cupertino manufacturer to develop bigger phones. Back in the day, Apple has stuck with smaller screens, and its fans and consumers never complained. We will just see how the entire mobile market will welcome the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhones.

Earlier this month, a German carrier mentioned in a letter to its employees that the new iPhones would arrive on September 19, a Friday.
