In a shocking turn of events, "The Legend of Korra" will not only air Book 3 on Friday, but a video game has also been confirmed by IGN!

Reportedly, "The Legend of Korra" video game will be made by Platinum Games, the same studio that brought The Megal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Beyonetta 2 to live. The third-person combat game will be available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3.

"We recently saw gameplay footage from this Activision project and it looks awesome," wrote "The Legend of Korra" co-creator Bryan Konietzko on Tumblr. "Platinum is doing a fantastic job with the development."

"Tim Hedrick, series writer, is writing the game and cooked up the story and villain with Mike and me. And our buddies at Titmouse are animating the cut scenes, one of which you can see in the trailer in this link––very cool stuff. I’m not a gamer, but I might even play this thing! Hope you guys enjoy it. Our character designer Christie Tseng is doing the cover art, and there is some sort of contest where you can vote for which cover you want her to finish."

"The Legend of Korra" video game will bridge Book 2 and Book 3.

Meanwhile, "The Legend of Korra" Book 3, titled "Change," will premiere on Friday June 27 at 7pm on Nickelodeon. Not only will the season premiere air at 7:00pm EST, episode 2 will air at 7:30pm, followed by a "special bonus presentation" of episode 3, titled "Meet the Family."
