It's been tumultuous year for the cast of "Glee" in the boyfriend department, and no one understands that better than Chris Colfer and Jenna Ushkowitz.

Last week, reports came flooding in about the break up of "Glee" cast member Jenna Ushkowitz and Michael Trevino of "The Vampire Diaries." The pair dated for three years.

According to E! News, a videographer asked Jenna Ushkowitz during an autograph signing event whether she was still with Trevino.

"No, we're not together anymore," said Ushkowitz, confirming the break up.

This year, Jenna's costar Naya Rivera also split from fiancé Big Sean. A few months ago, Chord Overstreet also split up from girlfriend Halston Sage.

Fortunately, Chris Colfer and his boyfriend Will Sherrod have been the steady rock of the "Glee" team.

Most recently, Chris Colfer thanked his boyfriend in the acknowledgments section of his new book, "The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning." This is the third book in his #1 New York Times bestselling children's book series.

"My parents, my sister, Grandma, Will, Ash, Pam, Jamie, Jen, Melissa, Babs, Dot and Bridgette, Romy, Roberto, Char, Whoopi, Brian, and the rest of my friends and family who have provided material for this book without realizing it," wrote Chris Colfer.

"The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning" is slated to release on July 8.
