The new "Legend of Zelda" for Wii U with a release date in 2015 is fully 3D!

According to Cinema Blend, producer Eiji Aonuma hinted in a new interview that "Legend of Zelda" for Wii U is going to be very different from previous versions in the franchise. Will it include multiplayer?

During a Nintendo Direct presentation, Aonuma said that Nintendo is rethinking the "Zelda" convention of completing dungeons in a certain order and playing by yourself.

"When I was talking back about making 'Zelda' more than just a single-player experience? That's something you will see in the future, maybe next year," Aonuma told GI.

"The game is said to be much more open-ended than its predecessors, with players able to complete quests in several different ways," Cinema Blend writes.

Aonuma hinted that puzzles could be changed dramatically, which would make sense if "Legend of Zelda" for Wii U had two players tackling puzzles instead of just one.
