2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions: Tyson Chandler Will Bring Carmelo Anthony To Dallas! 'I'm Going To Do Whatever It Takes!'

2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions is running on all cylinders! When it comes to free agency, it's an individual decision but connections mean a lot-just look at the Big Three in Miami. Tyson Chandler confesses that he will use the full mojo on Carmelo Anthony!

Chandler was visibly ecstatic to return to Dallas-the city where he won a championship three years ago. That's not very hard to recall, even though most of the players of that team are gone.

When asked on whether he will try and recruit free agent Carmelo Anthony, his teammate on the Knicks, to Dallas:

From ESPN: "Absolutely, I'm going to do whatever I can to help the team and the organization. At the end of the day, free agency is kind of an individual thing. And I know that I was once there and it comes down your family and what's best for you career-wise. But I'll tell you one thing: Dallas isn't a bad place to be. It's a great opportunity and clearly we've done it in the past. It's not a hard place to sell. I'm going to do whatever it takes."

Dallas is actually an underrated destination. They struck out on big free agents after their championship run but they are back on their feet again. They actually brought eventual NBA Champions San Antonio Spurs to a deciding 7th game-something the Miami Heat couldn't do.

The Mavericks have it all-Dirk Nowitzki is an unselfish superstar, Rick Carlisle is quietly one of the best coaches in the league and Mark Cuban is one of the most supportive owners who's undaunted by the luxury tax. Another factor: Texas does not have the humongous state taxes that California or New York has.

But in the end, it has to be Carmelo's decision. Chandler talks about him: "He's a great dude. He wants to win and he wants to be in a system and he wants to be in a culture. I think that's going to go into a big part of his decision-making. His talent is unquestionable."

The Dallas Mavericks is one of the last three teams to win a championship. And now, they just got one of the most important pieces of their championship team back. If Dallas was a prime destination then, it's much better now that Chandler is around. Melo may end up wearing a different shade of blue next season.
