‘Drop Dead Diva’ Season 7 Petition Could Give Show Another Chance? Cast Jackson Hurst Feeling Nostalgic With Twitter Post

"Drop Dead Diva" season 7 petition is trying to bring back the show, if not on Lifetime, then on another network, as cast Jackson Hurst might have felt nostalgic over his time in the show based on his recent Twitter post.

Jackson Hurst, who played Grayson, posted on his Twitter account an image of him with his arms around his girlfriend along with this caption: "My girl and I in front of @DropDeadDiva 's H&P office in downtown LA.."

The "Drop Dead Diva" season 7 petition was uploaded on website Change.org and has since generated more than 700 signatures.

"I ask that you join me in helping give Drop Dead Diva, a show about second chances, another chance itself. Let's get our favorite show back on the air under a different network. Once this petition has a large enough following I will contact the networks of USA, TV Land and ABC Family about the possibility of getting Drop Dead Diva the season 7 it deserves," the intro said.

The "Drop Dead Diva" season 7 petition is addressed to SONY, Netflix, ABC, NBC, ABC Family,

USA Network, and TV Land and reads:

"Please sign the series Drop Dead Diva to your network and give fans a Season 7. The Drop Dead Diva finale on Lifetime scored high in the ratings compared to many shows on your network on June 22, 2014 and the story line has so much more potential. Please consider signing our favorite show onto your network and give it a second chance. Drop Dead Diva has a loyal fan base of over 2 million fans. We promise the ratings won't disappoint if you sign it on for a season."

Writer Josh Berman last month told TVLine: "If another network is interested in picking up the show, I would be happy to tell that story. I love Drop Dead Diva. I love these characters and I'm sad to say goodbye to them."
