‘The Hobbit 3’ Trailer Release: ‘Battle Of Five Armies’ Debuts In San Diego Comic-Con? Director Peter Jackson Says Teaser Will Be Out Soon

"The Hobbit 3" trailer release date could be debuted during the San Diego Comic-con as "Battle of Five Armies" director Peter Jackson said that the teaser will be out soon.

The fan website OneRing.net reported that "The Hobbit 3" trailer release is not yet confirmed but Peter Jackson is scheduled to make a presentation on "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" at the San Diego Comic-con.

"The keystone of the 2012 presentation was, of course, the screening of 10-12 minutes of partially finished film footage," the site said. "Plus there was a longish Q&A with Jackson, Boyens, Freeman, Serkis and Armitage. In total, the entire shebang lasted 30-40 minutes."

A statement from Warner Bros. Read: "On Saturday, July 26th, beginning at 10 a.m., Warner Bros. Pictures brings three of its most hotly anticipated films to this year's Con: Peter Jackson will be on the main stage with "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies," from New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, and George Miller will be on hand to present a first look at "Mad Max: Fury Road," from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures."

"The Hall H audience will also get a peek at the Wachowskis' original sci-fi actioner "Jupiter Ascending," also from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. Attending stars will be revealed at a later date," it said.

Peter Jackson, meanwhile, replied to a fan on his Facebook account asking about "The Hobbit 3" trailer release date and he wrote: "Yes - there will be a Hobbit Trailer but like the previous two years, it's not going to be released until around Oct."

"However... I finished work on a Teaser Trailer and that has just been delivered to Warner Bros. So no doubt this Teaser Trailer will be making it's way into the world sometime soon..." he added.
