Argentina vs. Germany Preview: Brazil World Cup 2014 Final Match, Messi Doping Test Scandal?

Argentina will face off against Germany in the final match of the Brazil World Cup 2014 tournament, pitting two of the tournament's strongest teams against each other.

Argentina, ranked fifth in the world, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

The South American team's coach Alejandro Sabella said Germany may have the final edge for the match.

"We have a final to play, with one day less to prepare and against a team like Germany, but with work, humility and seriousness, we'll do all we can to make it all the way to the top," Sabella said, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Lionel Messi was summoned to a mandatory doping test following his team's win over the Netherlands, he posted on his Instagram account.

The test, however, appears to have been random and the player has not been accused of doping.

"Germany throughout their entire history have always shown physical might, tactical, mental prowess, and have always had players with a certain South American touch."

Germany, ranked second in the world, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

The European team's manager Joachim Löwsaid he knows how Brazil feels after their historic 7-1 loss.

"We were shocked too and experienced the same thing in 2006," Loew told German TV.

"They were shocked and didn't expect to fall behind. And after that it was an easy match for us."
