Reports about the iOS 7.1.3 release date continue to circulate online after discovering bugs and issues on the previous firmware.

According to reports, iOS 7.1.3 release date might happen before the arrival of Apple's next iteration of its mobile firmware. Apple is reportedly preparing to provide a new iOS 7 maintenance update before Fall 2014.

While there is no confirmation about it, a report on Venture Capital Post noted that the iOS 7.1.3 release date might happen within this month.

On the other hand, a BreatheCast report about the iOS 7.1.3 release date stated that the Apple minor firmware update will arrive on August.

It was initially expected that the iOS 7.1.2 would be the last firmware upgrade that Apple will release before the iOS 8 arrives at some point during fall 2014. However, since new bugs and issues were found in iOS 7.1.2, it seems unavoidable to release another update for the ioS 7.

One of the big issues found on iOS 7.1.2 is the calendar bug. Phone Arena reported about an issue experienced by an iPad Air and iPhone 5S user in Lithuania. Accordingly, wrong regional holidays are appearing on the calendar application of both the iPad Air and iPhone 5S after installing the iOS 7.1.2 update. After setting the correct region, the holidays showing for the year 2014 are those celebrated in Canada, Mexico and Canada.

The user from Lithuania sent out an email to Apple and received a response, which according to this post stated that there is a software issue with the calendar app. The reply further said that it will be resolved with the next update, which is believed to be the iOS 7.1.3 firmware.

It is also possible that the battery drain problems experienced in iOS 7 will also be resolved, come iOS 7.1.3 release date. Furthermore, other issues reported after getting the iOS 7.1.2 update are Wi-Fi instability, as well as camera and iMessage bugs.
