Doraemon is finally gracing English viewers, and now fans can view the episodes on Disney XD.

According to Japan Times, Disney XD will air the 20-minute pilot, with 26 episodes lined up to air on Mondays at 12:30pm.

According to Bang Zoom CEO Eric Sherman, localizing Doraemon for English viewers is challenging because “the rights holders are extremely protective of their beloved character and show, as they should be.”

"We always approach every project from a place of respect and admiration for the creators. We need to know lots of details and we need to get deep into the show, to what the bones are. Then we can put the flesh back on and color it for a new audience—the U.S. audience—maintaining the original intent of the creators, while making it amazing for the new audience.”

So far, reception for the English Doraemon episodes has been positive, with no complaints of dubbing.

Meanwhile, Anime News Network has unveiled the title of the upcoming Doraemon movie for 2015, called "Doraemon: Nobita's Space Hero Record of Space Heroes." Reportedly, the film will feature Doraemon, Nobita, Shzuka, Gian, and Suneo as space heroes fighting against monsters.

Unveiled in the August 2014 issues of CoroCoro, a trailer will reportedly be unveiled on the movie's official website on July 19.

The previous 2014 Doraemon movie was released in March.
