Cleveland Cavaliers Roster For NBA 2014-15 Season Will Feature LBJ, Irving, Waiters And Varejao, Is This The 2015 NBA Champions?

The Cleveland Cavaliers roster suddenly became one of the best in the East after James made the second most important decision in his entire NBA career, and literally people would be betting that this squad will be able to make it to the Finals, if not win the championship this year.

First up is LeBron James who will certainly suit up as the team's captain for the next couple of seasons. Averaging more than 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, the 29-year-old superstar will certainly be the go-to guy of this young Cavs squad. But now he will have both hands full as scorer, facilitator and mentor to rising stars Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters.

Both Irving and Waiters have been complementing each other on the court, building the Cavs own Dynamic Duo. Only in his fourth year in the league entering this season, the 22-year-old guard is now averaging more than 20 points and almost 7 assists per game. With James getting a load of facilitating duties, Irving will find it easier to provide enough scoring load for the Cavs.

As for shooting guard Dion Waiters, he is only coming to his third NBA season, but managed to establish himself as a great backup scorer and passer. With James on the court, he would surely be at his best as the 4-time MVP's mentoring duties would certainly be focused on him and Irving.

Anderson Varejao is no rookie or sophomore, but in his 10 years in the league, he has been a reliable threat inside the paint, averaging almost double digit points and rebounds in the past season. With a more experienced facilitator in James with whom Varejao has played with for seven seasons, the center will certainly get easier shots around the shaded lane.

While there has not been any assurance that 2014 NBA first overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins would be signed by Cleveland, he would surely add the spark plug for the Cavs with his athleticism and energy.

So is this the 2015 NBA Champions? Not quite. They still have a long way to go. But if both Waiters and Irving blossom in their respective games throughout the seasons's stretch, then it would not be difficult to imagine Lebron James returning to the Finals for the fifth straight year.
