Destiny PS4 Beta Pre-Load Available For Few Users; Official Release Date Set For July 17; Two Expansion Packs Coming To Bungie FPS Game’s Trial Version!

Destiny PS4 beta is now out, but only for some.

According to a report on N4G.com, a few users of Reddit and Neogaf are now reporting that the Destiny PS4 beta is already available for pre-load.

Moreover, the accessibility of Bungie's Destiny PS4 beta is still limited as it is currently available for gamers who pre-availed the game via the PlayStation Networks. Also, the Destiny PS4 beta seems to be available only in certain regions.

DualShockers report also noted:

"The option seems to be active for those that pre-ordered digitally on the PSN, and only in some regions so far. Reports mention that if they have automatic downloads active, the PS4 queues the beta all by itself. Of course the servers aren't open yet, so the game is not playable."

Furthermore, the initial build for the Destiny beta is 179 MB in size, while the second download will need a 13.2 GB storage space. As reported on Gamepur, the final installation will take up to 14.3 GB of hard disk drive space.

Gamers excited to experience the Destiny PS4 beta can expect two expansion packs in the trial version of the game. Citing Activision, BreatheCast reported that "The Dark Below" and "House of Wolves" expansion packs will be available in Destiny's test version as it aims to showcase a "diverse sampling of major activities" for the game.

Destiny PS4 beta, as well as for the PS3 version is set to officially arrive on July17. Meanwhile, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners will not have access to the trial firmware until July 23.

Official Destiny release date for PS4, PS3 and Xbox One is set for September 9. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the first-person shooter game from Bungie as its market launch nears.
