Upcoming Samsung Phones 2014: Korean Company Adds Another Entry-Level Handset, Galaxy ACE NXT Hits Indian Market For $123

Samsung recently had a lower output as far as earnings are concerned, but does not stop the Korean manufacturing from launching more upcoming Samsung phones for 2014.

This year, the focus of Samsung has been the entry-level market as its flagship devices are already booming in their respective market groups.

Unfortunately, it's not as easy as it looks for the Korean company to make a similar impact in that department. While Samsung's phones are decent and fit for the price requirements, most of its specs are inferior to the ones offered by many Chinese brands and even Indian OEMs.

And so, with the company's latest release, the Galaxy Ace NXT, we will see if this negative trend continues.

According to the report by GSM Arena, the Android-powered device is now official in India and costs INR 7,399 or around $123.

But what can Samsung offer in this price range? The Galaxy Ace NXT packs a 4-inch display, quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, a 3MP primary camera paired with an LED flash and a 1,500mAh battery.

Other specs of the device include the usual connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, and dual-SIM support, which is extremely popular in India, as well as in China.

Unfortunately, there are no details regarding which Android version it would get out of the box.

While the Galaxy Ace NXT's specs are similar to that of the Galaxy V, it is a bit more expensive than its older sibling. Still at a low price range, the new Android phone is expected to make an immediate impact in the competitive Indian local mobile market.

Samsung may be dominating in the flagship, and in some cases the midrange categories. However, it has certainly lost its hold in the massive entry-level market due to other Android OEMs which release impressively spec'd devices at very affordable rates.
