Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are very happy right now with their relationship, and Nicole Richie says she's taking full responsibility for it.

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden's dating story appears to be for keep and Nicole Richie is taking complete responsibility for their bliss. In an interview with Watch What Happens Live, the 'Simple Life' actress joked about her brother-in-law's romance with the blonde beauty,

"I'm going to take responsibility for everything!" she said. Everything reportedly bloomed when one fan asked Richie if she'd approve of Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden dating.

"I approve of anything that's going to make Benji happy. I am a devoted sister-in-law," exclaimed the former best friend of Paris Hilton.

Richie is married to Benji Madden's twin brother, Joel. The couple has two children - Harlow, 6, and Sparrow, 4. As opposed to the couple's family, Diaz might not want to have children in the future.

The 41-year-thinks that it's "so much work to have children" and that being responsible for other persons is an idea which does not really fancy her. Nonetheless, the 'The Other Woman' actress still finds herself doubting her decision.

"Not having a baby might really make things easier, but that doesn't make it an easy decision. I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother," she said.

Starting a family appears to be least of Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden's priorities. For now, the 'Bad Teacher' star is focused on the present with her new man: "With Benji, it's about being happy and taking things as they come."
