Weird Al Yankovic Releases 'Word Crimes' From Album'Mandatory Fun': Parody Of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," Second Video Of Eight Released Over Course Of Eight Days [VIDEO]

Today Weird Al Yankovic released his second video for his album "Mandatory Fun" called "Word Crimes," a parody of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines." The song is something of a litany of ways people misuse grammar in frustrating ways.

Weird Al Yankovic will be releasing eight videos in eight days for his new album "Mandatory Fun." Yesterday he released "Tacky," a parody of Pharrell's "Happy." "Word Crimes" is Weird Al Yankovic's second video release of eight.

Fan's on youtube were happy with the video, saying, "Weird Al has knocked it out of the park with this one. The video for "Word Crimes" is almost greater than the song itself! I'm so in love with this, and can't wait to give the full album a proper listen to on GPMAA" Another said, "I will definitely be watching my grammar for the next few days...."

Another noted some subtle wordplay, "Because no one takes the time to actually deconstruct the song. He always references the original source in some way as well, which isn't easy and yet he makes it seem like it is. I mean "cunning linguist" - really! If you don't see that as a nod to the original artist/song you're not paying attention."

As for the rest of the album, "First World Problems" may be a parody of A$AP Rocky's "F**kin' Problems." "NOW That's What I Call Polka!" must have something to do with the famous "NOW That's What I Call Music" compilation albums. As for "Jackson Park Express," well, it could be a parody of the 1969 Crosby, Stills & Nash folk song "Marrakesh Express," although that seems a little dated.

Here's the full list. Feel free to make your own guesses below.

1. "Handy"
2. "Lame Claim to Fame"
3. "Foil"
4. "Sports Song"
5 ."Word Crimes"
6. "My Own Eyes"
