Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Get Ready For The Most Powerful WP Handset Ever! Tipped To Hit Local Carriers In The US?

After finally releasing the Lumia 930 in the market, one of the upcoming Nokia phones for 2014 is reportedly in the works already.

Dubbed as the Nokia Lumia 1525, the upcoming smartphone is supposed to take the place of the current flagship phablet, the Lumia 1520.

According to a report by Gospel Herald, EV Leaks have mentioned the rumored device which should be available in the latter part of the year.

In the tweet by the notorious leakster, the Nokia Lumia 1525 will pack serious specs which would surely contend with the best in the field. That includes a 6-inch display with QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 801 chipset, and quad-core CPU.

The 20.7MP camera is expected to be on board as well, together with Windows Phone 8.1.

The good news about this phone is that it will allegedly arrive to a number US carriers such as Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, much to the delight of their subscribers.

Of course nothing is yet official as neither Nokia nor Microsoft has mentioned anything about the rumored Lumia 1525. But we're definitely keeping our hopes up that it would be released in the market the same time the Lumia 1520 was released last year.

The Nokia lumia 1520 is a fitting flagship phablet device for the Finish brand. When it was launched, it packed the best specs a flagship smartphone has to offer, not to mention its whopping 6-inch display with Nokia's ClearBlack AMOLED display.

Unfortunately, limitations on its operating system kept it from becoming a hit in the mobile market, especially for people coming from Android and iOS.

However, with the recent Windows Phone 8.1 update, we can expect the Nokia Lumia 1525 to be a lot better than its predecessors due to new features, customization options, and more developer support.
