Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West might have been a festive family event but many questioned the absence of the bride's step brother, Bruce Jenner. Several speculations have risen regarding the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' actor's choice not to attend the lavish event in Paris.

Several websites have reported that the sibling's relationship was far from amicable. As opposed to such claims, Jenner actually missed out on Kim Kardashian's wedding because of his work commitments.

"Not going to Kim's wedding was not me trying to diss her and Kanye. I simply had a very last-minute thing. They didn't want to let people know about their wedding early in advance, and I had already booked gigs in Chicago and some other places, so I was already working," he previously told People magazine.

Another issue brought up was the bride's alleged disagreement of Jenner bringing his girlfriend Kaitlyn Carter to the ceremony which he denied: "Of course Kim would let me bring my girlfriend if I wanted to. I'm her brother - it's her wedding. I am allowed to bring someone if I want to."

The magazine then questioned Jenner why he attended the wedding of Reggie Bush, Kardashian's former boyfriend. The model revealed that the reason for his attendance was his longtime friendship with Bush.

Even if Bush and Kardashian already parted ways, he remained pals with Bush and even labeled him as his favorite person "on the entire planet."

In an interview with Us Weekly, Jenner said that people shouldn't make a big deal out of him attending the nuptials of Bush: "It's kinda ridiculous that everybody's making such a big deal out of it. Reggie's been a friend of mine for a very long time so I went to his wedding. It's all good."
