Katie Holmes is reportedly dating 'True Blood' actor Alexander Skarsgard whom she met on the set of 'The Giver.' Even if the stars finished filming last year, the 37-year-old actor allegedly never failed to keep in touch with Tom Cruise's ex-wife.

"Their flirtation was one of the worst kept secrets on set. Nobody is surprised that they've been spending time together. They really enjoy each other's company," claimed one of Grazia magazine's insider.

Katie Holmes dating Alexander Skarsgard news might also intensify now that the two will be spending much time as they promote the film.

"While it's all quite casual at the moment, they are looking forward to spending more time with one another as they promote the film, especially as they are both single," added the source.

The 'Dawson's Creek' star, however, remains tight-lipped about her relationship status. In her recent topless cover for Glamour magazine, the creative team was reportedly not permitted to ask things about the mother of one's state of heart.

Nonetheless, she is very much focused on raising her 8-year-old daughter Suri: "Motherhood is the greatest gift. I didn't know how much love I had in me. It's overwhelming. Every day I discover more about this spectacular human being I get to be the mother of."

Prior to Skarsgard, the 35-year-old actress has been linked with actors Luke Kirby, George Clooney, and Jamie Foxx.

Skarsgard, on the other hand, had a two-year relationship with Kate Bosworth. He was similarly linked with Victoria's Secret model Anne Vyalitsina and actress Elizabeth Olsen. In October 2013, the onscreen Nordic vampire was also rumored to be dating Taylor Swift although the representative of the 'Red' songstress denied the news.
