Emma Stone's interview on David Letterman's show has left chills running down the spines of viewers! In her new flick, "Magic in the Moonlight", Emma Stone plays a spiritualist who claims to have the power of communication with the deceased. Following that creepy path, David Letterman asked the star about her own supernatural experiences.

"Have you ever had an inexplicable situation that you think was metaphysical?" the host asked the "Magic in the Moonlight" star.

"I've had a few," replied the actress.

When prompted for an example on David Letterman's show, Emma revealed just how eerie her ghostly experiences are - the star doesn't just see your average spirits floating around and haunted houses! Instead, Emma Stone's interview revealed that "things materialize" for the young woman.

But Emma Stone's interview foray into the world of the supernatural didn't end there, with the 25-year-old actress spilling to David Letterman's show that the Stone family has a long history of involvement with paranormal activity.

"My grandfather leaves quarters. It's just amazing. It's him, it's absolutely him," said the "Magic in the Moonlight" star.

When pressed by the host about her proof for such an occurrence, Emma joked that the story was so long, the David Letterman show would be forced to go to commercial "five times", then "roll a clip and come back and I'd still be telling the story".

Emma kept trying to convince David and his audience that the quarters were definitely left by her grandfather, as the audience laughed and the host looked skeptical!

When David Letterman displayed a disbelief in supernatural experiences and stated there was no scientific evidence for such things to take place, Emma Stone argued that wasn't the point of ghost stories.

"That's the joy of it. It's not a logical thing. It's magical," said the actress.

Magic in the Moonlight is the latest film from legendary director Woody Allen, and is set to be released in the US on July 25.
