Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone met on the set of the "Amazing Spider-Man" movie, and now Emma Stone reveals that she felt a chemistry "spark" when she first caught sight of her boyfriend! "Amazing Spider-Man 2" actress Emma Stone also gave a little relationship advice when it comes to getting to know your beau.

When speaking to OK! Magazine, Emma Stone wouldn't give specific details about her very-private relationship with boyfriend Andrew Garfield, but she did tell the publication "when you meet someone for the first time you can feel a spark, but not think they're so great as a person," UPI reports.

The "Amazing Spider-Man 2" actress even dished a little relationship advice!

"Then, as you get to know them, you can either be proven right or wrong. It's a good 'don't judge a book by its cover' story," she added.

Bustle reports that boyfriend Andrew Garfield also felt a "spark" when he first met Emma Stone at the screen testing for "Amazing Spider-Man," he told Teen Vogue. He admitted the  testing was very boring - until Stone walked through the door.

"It was like I woke up when she came in... It was like diving into whitewater rapids and having no desire to hang onto the side. Throughout shooting, it was wild and exciting," he said.

In a 2012 interview with MTV News, Andrew Garfield said he felt an immediate connection with his co-star: "We got on really well as people, in between [takes]. That was the fun stuff: In between, we'd just mess around, and I felt, 'Ah, this is different.' I wasn't really aware what was happening in the screen test. She keeps you on your toes, and that wakes you up. That was the beginning."

Emma Stone, 25, and Andrew Garfield, 30, have been dating since 2011. They currently live together in NYC.

Stone will next star in Woody Allen's "Magic In the Moonlight," which is set for a July 26 release.
