NBA Trade Rumors: Andrew Wiggins For Kevin Love Confirmed? Cavaliers Now Willing To Give Up Pheonmenal Rookie For Top 10 NBA Player! Is It The Right Move?

The NBA Trade Rumors are red hot with the Andrew Wiggins for Kevin Love debate. It's like the present versus the future. For Cleveland, who has yet to win a title at any point in their history, the answer is simple.

A union between two of the most skilled and versatile players of the league is bound to take place when Kevin Love gets traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The only possible stumbling block has fallen.

ESPN, through Chris Broussard reported:

"The Cleveland Cavaliers are now offering No. 1 pick Andrew Wiggins in attempts to trade forMinnesota Timberwolves All-Star forward Kevin Love, league sources have confirmed.

The availability of Wiggins could lead to a blockbuster trade that could shift the balance of power in the Eastern Conference and the league as a whole.

The two clubs have been engaged in trade discussions since LeBron James announced that he would return to Cleveland last Friday. But the Cavaliers' refusal to include the 19-year-old Wiggins in any trade stalled talks, as sources said the Timberwolves were unwilling to send Love to Cleveland without receiving the former star Kansas guard in return."

On the other side of the spectrum, no less than LeBron James had reportedly called Love for this to happen.

Yahoo Sports:

"LeBron James has reached out to Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star forward Kevin Love and expressed a desire for them to play together in Cleveland, front-office sources told Yahoo Sports.

Love is enthusiastic about the idea of teaming with James on the Cleveland Cavaliers, sources said. James' decision to sign only a two-year contract that affords him the option of again becoming a free agent at the end of next season has not tempered Love's interest in joining James on the roster.

The Cavs and Timberwolves have had ongoing talks about a trade for Love, but a deal is not imminent, said one high-ranking source involved in the discussions."

In principle, it seems like everything is set. The only caveat is that Minnesota with their GM/coach Flip Saunders may try to use this as leverage and play the chicken game. It would be a big risk if they let the season start. If Andrew Wiggins lives up to the hype, the Cavs may finally, and permanently take him off the table.

There is already a big debate on this issue. Andrew Wiggins is the most hyped prospect since LeBron James himself. He may end up a better player than Kevin Love in the long run.
