Katy Perry Taylor Swift Feud: A recent quote from a Taylor Swift interview in Rolling Stone magazine started a media frenzy in the form of a feud between the country star and pop star Katy Perry.

If past celebrity feuds are any indication, then don't expect the feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift to ending anytime soon. Whether the stars are feuding or not, the media won't let Katy "Shake It Off."

Not actually naming names, Taylor Swift told Rolling Stone, "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational - you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift continued in the interview. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"

HollywoodLife.com says Katy Perry, 29, is not taking the withering allegations Taylor Swift, 24, claimed in the Rolling Stone interview lightly. Katy took to Twitter on Sept. 9 to tell her followers "Watch out for Regina George in sheeps clothing..."

A source told HollywoodLife.com "Katy's feelings aren't hurt they are just confirmed that how she always felt about Taylor and things she heard about Taylor are true. Katy thinks it is petty and stupid of Taylor to do what she did and doesn't want to go to her level and respond more then the tweet."

Another source told the gossip magazines "Katy and Taylor are the definition of oil and water. They both have completely opposite personalities and Taylor just rubs Katy the wrong way. Katy feels that everything Taylor does is completely fake and annoying and she really doesn't care for her."

"Katy has had many talks with and heard stories from John Mayer about Taylor and she's convinced [the 'Shake It Off' singer] is a conniving b***h, who is only out to benefit herself," our source dished. "Katy dislikes fake people and she thinks that Taylor is the queen of fake people. Katy can read through all of Taylor's bulls**t," yet another source was quoted as saying by the tabloids.
