KBS' "Haeundae Lovers" Kim Kang Woo lost his memory.

On the fifth episode of "Haeundae Lovers," Lee Tae Sung, played by Kim Kang Woo, loses his memory after falling into the ocean and losing consciousness. 

Lee Tae Sung had originally mistaken Go So Ra, played by Jo Yeo Jeong, for a drug dealer and he was undercover in Busan to chase after Oh Jong Chul, who is the ultimate drug dealer that has taken over Busan. He later realizes that the two of them are not linked in anyway, except for her possession of Oh Jong Chul's cellphone.

Lee Tae Sung confronts Oh Jong Chul who visits the seafood market that Go So Ra and her family run, and a chase ensues. As he is about to arrest Oh Jong Chul, Lee Tae Sung is hit in the head by Oh Chong Chul's girlfriend and falls into the ocean. However, when he is fished out by their fishing net, he is rescued by Go So Ra and her family, barely saving his life. 

They resuscitate him and move him to a hospital and they realize that he has lost his memory, just like they thought he would if they were in a drama. With the OST for "Winter Story" in the background, he opens his eyes and asks Go So Ra, "Who are you?"

Back in Seoul, people believe that Lee Tae Sung is dead due to a car accident. These events lead to Lee Tae Sung's move into the family and people anticipate what will come of his new beginning with Go So Ra.
