TVXQ revealed of attempts of trying to find new member in 2010 when the original 5 member group became a duo.

KBS "Do Dream" on October 6 featured guests Yunho and Changmin of TVXQ, as the group returns to Korea with their new title song, "Catch Me" after a year and ten months.

The group shared the difficulties they experienced after becoming a duo.

Yuno shared, "Originally we weren't planning to become a duo. We performed as a duo for a SMTOWN performance and the special performance was an experimental stage. However that became our debut stage."

Changmin added, "We were actually thinking of adding new members. However CEO Lee Soo Man, who likes a challenge, after our performance told us, 'I think it will work out even if you continue as a duo'."

Yunho shared, "Other people told us that day, it will be alright with just the two of us."
