'Pokemon Z' Over 'Pokemon X2 And Y2'? Fans Address End Game, Clothing Options, Mega Evolutions And Battle Frontier Before CoroCoro Leaks

Although fans have not received news of a main Pokemon sequel in some time, a few are hoping for certain adjustments and additions in the next game.

After the release of "Pokemon X and Y," many are anticipating a sequel either in the form of "Pokemon X2 and Y2" or "Pokemon Z." On PokeJungle, fans voiced what they would want out of a potential sequel.

"I want a sequel but a single version, not 'X2/Y2,'" wrote Armaggedon16. "I want a more in-depth story about the war, AZ and an explanation of Mega Evolution."

In addition, some fans also believe a future Pokemon game could also function as a sequel for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire."

"Since they didn't include a lot of elements of 'Emerald' in 'Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire,' maybe 'Z' can be like a mixed 6th generation with some missing 'Emerald' elements from 'Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire,' like Battle Frontier," added Menacing Cascoon.

Although Game Freak has not spoken on the lack of Battle Frontier in "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," but much like "Pokemon X and Y," fans have discovered a variety of Easter Eggs at the fact that Battle Frontier will make its way to ORAS.

As noted by US Gamer contributor Kat Bailey, only the Battle Resort is available for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," but at the Resort, there is a monument which reads, "The Battle Frontier Project Has Started!"

Last May, Serebii confirmed that a new trademark has been discovered for Delta Emerald, registered by Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc. This could very much be the company simply covering its bases with trademarks (Pokemon Water Blue, Grey, Brown, and Purple were all trademarked, for example).
