K-Pop Review: Disturbance by BoA

I will always love BoA when she is doing her difficult choreography and dance songs flawlessly, but between this single and "Only One," off her 7th album, I've come to love the pop ballad side of BoA, and it's something I hope she sticks to for a while.

BoA's experience in the industry really shined through with this song. Since her last song, "Only One," was solid, she followed the 'don't fix what ain't broke' motto, and stayed in the same realm of things with "Disturbance," and I can't fault her for it.

As much as I loved the song...this music video was bad. I had no idea what it was about when I finished watching it the first, second or third time, and I have to blame two people. BoA's oppa (brother) who was the director, and Taemin whose acting was a train reck. It's only saving grace was the coupling, because it left me shipping BoA and Taemin like crazy! I just thought these two made a hot couple despite the age gap, and I beg of someone over at SM to fight their urges to keep their artists single, and make this relationship happen somehow...please.

Final Score: 5/5
