Red Hot Chili Peppers New Album To Come Out In 2016? Chad Smith Shares Recording Process Of Band

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are working on a new album and is expected to come out next year.

In a recent report by Rolling Stone, members of the group revealed the progress of the recording of the album and claimed the challenges they had to face during the process of recording.

In an interview, drummer Chad Smith revealed how they are going to try a different method of recording, which is expected to give a "unique" and "very different" twist for the record.

"And we wrote a bunch of songs that way," Smith said. "And we're now going to try another method that will be really challenging for us and will bring new, exciting results for the band."

"We've written and recorded in a way that we've never done before, so the record is going great. We all have high hopes that it's going to take off and we're going to do something very different and unique for the Red Hot Chili Peppers."

Furthermore, he previously revealed how they are set to work with an unnamed producer, which was later named by Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea to be Danger Mouse that is working on their new album.

"We've got lots of songs, and we're working with an unnamed producer who is really challenging us to find new ways to come up with new music," Smith previously said before Flea hinted their collaboration with Danger Mouse on the new album.. "We've done the 'guys get in the room and jam out songs, everybody playing together all at once' thing."

With no release dates set for their new album, fans keep their eyes and ears wide open for the official announcement from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
