It's November, which means that we've said goodbye to October and are ready for the new month and all the new Korean music releases that come with it. This month, several popular K-pop boy bands will be going neck to neck with one another, competing for the top spot.
B.A.P, BTS, WINNER, VIXX, and iKON will all be releasing new music this month.
VIXX will make the earliest comeback, and release their second album "Chained Up" on Nov. 10. Their company, Jellyfish Entertainment, already began revealing multiple teaser images for the members and the group via their official social media accounts.
B.A.P returns to the Korean music scene a year after a contract lawsuit with the group's agency, TS Entertainment. Following the two sides reaching a settlement earlier this year, B.A.P is gearing up for a comeback with the album "Matrix," which will be released on Nov. 16. The same day, they will release a music video for the song "Young, Wild & Free."
Another long-awaited comeback will come from YG Entertainment's WINNER. The group debuted in 2014 with the highly successful "2014 S/S," but WINNER's members have been focusing on solo activities and promoting overseas while YG Entertainment released music from senior group Big Bang and the new group, iKON. WINNER's comeback date has yet to be announced, but they will reportedly release multiple music video including ones filmed overseas.
Prior to WINNER's comeback, their little-brother group iKON will release the second half of their debut album, "Welcome Back." The first half of the album was released last month, and the second half will be released on Nov. 16, the same day as B.A.P's album.
BTS will round out the month when they reveal new music at their "2015 BTS LIVE" concerts in Seoul at the end of this month. The hip hop inspired K-pop group will perform new music at shows in Seoul from Nov.27-29, and then release a new album on Nov. 30.
