The "Divergent: Allegiant" trailer dropped on Friday to the delight of fans. As the characters of Theo James and Shailene Woodley continue to make people swoon, fans were hoping that they get close as well beyond the screen.

In a report on People magazine, the trailer that made its world premiere on Friday the 13th featured Beatrice Prior and Tobias Eaton sharing a tender moment amid their training and a new brewing war from beyond the wall.

But as fans get excited over the new trailer, there were still some on social media that hoped the Beatrice Prior and Tobias Eaton stars bring the romance from reel to real.

As reported by SugarScape, both stars share a great chemistry onscreen. But it was also mentioned that the Tobias Eaton actor apparently said they share a "special relationship." Both have even gushed about how great a kisser the other was in the past.

"He's an incredibly masculine man with a beautiful soulful heart-and he was a great kisser," the Beatrice Prior actress said in 2014.

Despite their closeness, Theo James and Shailene Woodley seemingly were just friends. In an interview with Global News last year, the "Snowden" actress even called him "buddy" nonstop. They have also both dispelled rumors that they were dating.

"No, we're not dating," the Beatrice Prior actress told HLN with the Tobias Eaton actor sounding off as well that "we're not dating."

Aside from the fact that they're friends, both "Divergent: Allegiant" stars were also dating other people amid working together.

Woodley has been rumored to be dating Nahko Bear and have been seen spending some time together in pictures shared by the Hawaiian singer's sister on social media as told by J-14.

James, on the other hand, was seen in Prague, Czech Republic last month with longtime girlfriend Ruth Kearney. As reported by Pop Sugar, the pair packed on PDA as they enjoyed the sights. According to Inquisitr, rumors also abound that the pair may be engaged.
