‘Rick And Morty’ Season 3 Update: New Season Packed In 10 Episodes As It Returns To ‘Dog World’?

A recent update of "Rick and Morty" season 3 has debunked the previous reports which said that the characters' escapades will be tackled in a total of 19 episodes.

According to iDigitalTimes, the new season will only have 10 episodes, contrary to Bloody Disgusting's claim of 19.

"But while it's undoubtedly true that Adult Swim will take as much Rick and Morty Season 3 as they can get their four-fingered hands on, the report from Bloody Disgusting is false," the outlet stated.

iDigitalTimes further narrated that show creator Justin Roiland, in his Twitter account, pointed out in a post on Nov. 28 that he has "No idea who started the 19 episodes thing. Misinformation turning into news. Gotta love the Internet!"

With such statement about an update to the "Rick and Morty" season 3, the report did not discount the fact, though, that "there's always the possibility that Rick and Morty can get it together like every other damn show on the planet and have a new season every year."

When it comes to the 2017 rumored release date and update of "Rick and Morty" season 3, the report noted that it surely is true considering that Poopybutthole, which reportedly "can be said to speak for Rick and Morty co-creators Roiland and Harmon," already disclosed that March 2017 could be the earliest airing schedule.

In the meantime, Movie Pilot speculated that the new season will return to "Dog World."

Despite the absence of any confirmation from Roiland and Harmon, the site shared that "there's a lot of scope to revisit old characters and settings here now."

"I re-watched [seasons 1 & 2] a couple nights ago, and now I'm excited about revisiting stuff in season 3 because I was so phobic about revisiting stuff in season," Harmon reportedly said when asked for a "Rick and Morty" season 3 update.
